About Hillel @ NCSU

Hillel @ NCSU is a registered student organization of North Carolina State University. Hillel @ NCSU is also a registered Soref HSO (Hillel Student Organization). The Soref Initiative for Emerging Campuses is a division of Hillel International. Soref HSOs are defined as student-led Hillels on campuses with small Jewish populations and staffing time of less than twenty hours per week. North Carolina State University has an estimated undergraduate Jewish population of 250 students and actively engages 10-15% of this population, which is on par with Hillel International expectations.
Hillel @ NCSU provides social, religious, and cultural opportunities for Jewish college students in the Greater Raleigh area to meet and spend time with other Jewish students, faculty, and members of the community on or near campus. We also provide "Jewish Teachable Moments" for Jewish and non-Jewish students who want to know more about the culture and religion known as Judaism.
